Refunds & Cancellations

We believe in complete financial transparency. Learn about our clear, fair, and hassle-free cancellation and refund processes.

1. General Policy

At Snapmate (a platform by Devlayers Technology Pvt Ltd), we strive to ensure that every booking meets your expectations. Because our platform involves booking the time of independent professionals, we have established a standardized cancellation policy that protects both the client's investment and the partner's time.


2. Cancellation by Client

If you (the client) need to cancel a confirmed booking, the following refund structure applies based on the time of cancellation:

  • More than 24 hours before the service: You are entitled to a 100% full refund of the booking amount.
  • Between 12 to 24 hours before the service: You will receive a 50% refund. The remaining 50% is utilized to compensate the professional for their blocked calendar.
  • Less than 12 hours before the service or No-Show: No refund will be issued. The partner will be compensated for their committed time.

3. Cancellation by Partner

We hold our registered professionals to the highest standards. However, in rare cases of emergency where a Partner must cancel a booking:

  • The client will be immediately notified via email and SMS.
  • A 100% full refund will be initiated instantly to the client.
  • Our support team will proactively assist the client in finding an alternative, top-rated professional for the same time slot if desired.

4. Service Quality Disputes

Your satisfaction is paramount. If a professional fails to arrive, arrives significantly late, or violates any of our professional conduct policies during the service, you must report the issue to our support team within 12 hours of the scheduled service time.

Once a dispute is raised, the funds in escrow are frozen. Our compliance team will investigate the matter. If the partner is found to be at fault, a partial or full refund will be processed immediately.


5. Refund Processing Times & Methods

All approved refunds are automatically routed back to the Original Method of Payment (e.g., Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Netbanking) used during the booking.

Please allow 5 to 7 business days for the refunded amount to reflect in your bank account or card statement, depending on your bank's processing timelines.
